LEGS CONCERNING THE POSSIBILITY OF THE CIVIL MARRIAGE AND WITHOUT THE SEDIUM OF THE SERVICE OF THE POPULATION OR PRIMARY
The Chamber of Deputies unanimously adopted the draft which provides for the possibility of ending marriage in public gardens, parks, museums and other outdoor places, with the approval of the mayor.
The draft law provides for the amendment and completion of paragraph 2 of Article 24 of Law No.119/1996 on civil status acts.
According to the law in force: 'marriage may also be concluded outside the premises of the local community public service for the registration of persons or, where appropriate, of the competent town hall, with the approval of the mayor.'
This draft states that this article will be amended and supplemented as follows: 'marriage may also be concluded outside the premises of the local community public service for the registration of persons or, where appropriate, of the competent town hall, such as public gardens, parks, museums and other outdoor places, at the request of future spouses, with the approval of the mayor'.
At the request of future spouses, the marriage may also be concluded in the following locations:
- public gardens;
- parks;
- museums;
- other outdoor places.
